Here now, Birding tour in Anavilhanas, Amazonas it is an unforgettable experience. It is an Archipelago and it is about 100km from Manaus - Amazonas (Brazil). Anavilhanas it is one of the biggest river archipelagoes of the world, situated further downstream on the Negro River. It has an area of 350,018 hectares in the northeastern part of Amazonas on the Negro River between Novo Airão and Manaus cities. The archipelago is uninhabited and accessible only by river. In the winter, during the full season, many islands are totally or partially inundated. It is an exciting Bird watching Trip. We will leave from Manaus and our tour will be done using a few boats, sailing on the Negro river, for an unforgettable Bird Trip. In our tour, we will see beautiful landscapes formed along Negro River such as flooded island’ forests.
For to go birdwatching
trip in Anavihanas, we will spend about five hours traveling in our small
boat that will be our base. In this tour in the Anavilhanas we will travel
by motorboat and by canoe paddle on the river, streams, flooded forests,
and walking on the trails into the Terra Firme forest. The Anavilhanas’
Archipelago is a fascinating area with a series of islands of flooded forest
in the black water Rio Negro and we will can watch bird as Target species
here include Zimmer’s Woodcreeper (Xiphorhynchus kienerii), Ash-breasted
Antbird (Myrmoborus lugubris) and Black-chinned Antbirds (Hypocnemoides
melanopogon), Blackish-grey Antshrike (Thamnophilus nigrocinereus), Leaden
Antwren (Myrmotherula assimilis) and Klage’s Antwrens (Myrmotherula
klagesi), the last, island’s endemic. Snethlage’s Pygmy-Tyrant
(Hemitriccus minor) and with a little of luck, Amazonian Umbrellabird (Cephalopterus
ornatus) and many others birds, in the most fantastic Tour.

General conditions for the Tour
All participants must prepare themselves reading detailed the general conditions for the tour, Diary itinerary and other information about the Birdtour requested.
Registration: For register yourself, please request include your name in the list and confirm your participation. Price subject to change because of change in the dollar.
Group Size: The Group Size is limited from 02 to 04 participants, dislocating in regional boat with sleeping in hammock.
Upon Request: For tailor-made itineraries into the Tour in/out these months, logistical support, consult us.
Included: Tour start and end in Manaus, transfer Hotel or airport/Boat and come back to Hotel or airport, accommodation, bilingual birdguide services, and all regular meals, 04 overnights, full board, outings as described.
Not Included:
beverages, medical costs or hospitalization, insurance, personal expenses
as laundry and phone calls.
Payments: The payments must be made in Brazilian Reais
(R$) Brazilian currency. We do not accept credit card or bank check. Special
cases will be examined carefully and arrangements may be made to facilitate
participation in the tour.

Health conditions of participants. All participants must be in well health conditions and they must see their doctors before take any birdtour.
Smoking persons. There are non-smoking persons between other customers. If you smoke, please be sensible to them, smoking in reserved areas for smoking persons.
Walking in the forest. For to walk in the forest we recommend using rubber boots or other appropriate footwear.
Others: Everyone should bring sunscreen, cap or hat, raincoat and insect repellent
