The Birdsong Audio CD, "Voices and Sounds of the Amazon Forest/Vozes e sons das florestas do Amazonas, Vol. 1", is a bilingual CD with 46 tracks (bird songs). In this work, the first to the State of the Amazonas (Brazil), the author Reynier Omena Junior, shows the acoustical identity of the flooded forests of igapó, of the fertile valley and of the dry land forests, in an imaginary trip, described in the CD’s insert. The trip begins in the dry season, later to the full with the formation of the igapós where the interlocutor hears the vocalization of the species that occur in these environments. All of a sudden, two tucuxis (tribesmen) emerge to take a breath. At nightfall, you hear the voices of night birds. The dawn is announced by innumerous bird species that sing on the forest ground, in the sub-woodland and in the dry land’s surface. In the afternoon, you heard the noise of water current that falls from a cave; a light rain falls in the forest and the birds return singing. It’s a sport that does well to the soul and to the nature, being considered a low-impact ecotourism activity that can be practiced either exclusively or in a group.
