Come with us go Birding tour at North of Manaus in Presidente Figueiredo - it is a fantastic and one experience. The city of Presidente Figueiredo in the state of Amazonas (Brazil) is situated 107 km from the Amazon capital, Manaus, on the edge of Highway BR-174, which integrates the Amazon to the Caribbean and North America, with more than 300 species of wild birds catalogued. We depart from Manaus on the paved road on highway BR-17 and will take lunch with us. We will go at Km 21, in search of the main specialties are in the campina forest. These include Rufous-crowned Elaenia (Elaenia ruficeps) and Pale-bellied Mourner (Rhytipterna immunda), Black Manakin (Xenopipo atronitens), Blue-backed Tanager (Cyanicterus cyanicterus), Bronzy Jacamar (Galbula leucogastra) and with luck we will can to see the rare Pelzeln's Tody-Tyrant (Hemitriccus inornatus). We go watching birds at the campina forest and at edge of forest land during the day and at the end of the evening we will go to Presidente Figueiredo.

This itinerary it is offering a fascinating bird trip in the Terra Firme Forest! We will leave from Manaus on the well-paved highway BR-174 until the city. Arriving there, we will be staying at a comfortable Inn. We will go birdwatching in Presidente Figueiredo, early in the morning and afternoon, and we will observe birds such as: Painted Parakeet (Pyrrhura picta), Red-lored Parrot (Amazona autumnalis) and Red-Fan Parrot (Deropityus accipitrinus), Crimson Topaz (Topaza pela), Warbling Antbird (Hypocnemis cantator), Black-headed Antbird (Percnostola rufifrons), Curved-billed Woodcreeper (Campylorhamphus procurvoides), and with luck we will can see Musician Wren (Cyphorhinus aradus), Pavonine Quetzal (Pharomacrus pavoninus)  and possibilities including Guianan Cock-of-the-Rock (Rupicola rupicola). During three full days we’ll be visiting these areas, that offers great opportunities for a good Bird trip experience.
