Reynier Omena Júnior, biologist and ornithologist he is our Director
and an expert and experienced Birding Guide, also serves as a guideline
for Birding.com.BR. He uses two recorders (an analogic and a digital), a
directional microphone, a laser pointer, a Spotting Scope, an Ipod with
a collection of voices in mp3 (around 1.300 amazon birds, almost all the
amazon's birds) to attract birds in the field, thus allowing the observation
of birds difficult to see. Despite the difficulty in watching birds of the
Amazon, because the forests are tall and its interior is more closed and
dark, our guides are experienced in this work and they can help you greatly
to watch or photograph birds. Reynier speaks English, but he is few fluent.
However, the little knowledge of language has not hindered or prevented
its performance in conducting groups for bird watching. He has leaded several
american groups to watch birds in Manaus.
On our team have guides
ornithologists and naturalist guides native of Brazil, which have experience
and have great pleasure in guiding our clients. Our guides have experience
in guiding bird watchers and photographers of birds and fauna in natural
environment in the Amazon Rainforest. You choose, we can provide the specialist
Birding Guide or a native and naturalist guide who knows about birds, footprints
of mammals, insects, butterfly, who know the forest and general knowledge
of the fauna and flora, including trees and medicinal plants and some of
them live in the Village where our birding trip and itineraries are based.
Our guides have great pleasure in guiding the customers that seek us to
watching birds, discover and to learn about the life of the birds and on
natural world. Due to experience of who lives at the forest, they are skilled
in identifying the presence of wild animals for the observation of footprints,
for the vocalization, besides knowing important aspects of the place geology,
of the flora, of the natural history of each destiny and the fauna’s
ecology. Some of them live in the Village where our birding trip and itineraries
